Musthave review
Dewatermark.AI has a narrow, useful job: remove an unwanted overlay from an image you are entitled to edit. The automatic mode is the fastest first pass; the brush gives you a way to target leftover fragments without repeating the whole image. Batch processing matters if you are cleaning a set of authorized product or archive photos rather than one file.
Do not judge the result from the thumbnail. Zoom in on hair, text edges, patterned backgrounds, and other places where inpainting can invent details. Keep the original file so you can compare or reverse the edit. The tool is not a way around image licensing: a removed watermark does not change who owns the work.
Best for: authorized image restoration and cleanup. Not for: bypassing a photographer’s or marketplace’s licensing terms. The official product page lists current modes, input limits, and its rights warning.
