Amazon Bedrock gives AWS customers access to foundation models and related building blocks without operating their own inference servers. The model catalog spans providers, and AWS also offers knowledge bases, guardrails, evaluation, and routing capabilities. Pricing is not one flat rate: the official page varies by provider, model, modality, and service tier, with additional charges for some surrounding features. Before standardizing an app, verify regional model availability, data-handling requirements, quotas, and the exact cost of the chosen inference path.
