Workers AI gives developers a managed way to call supported models without reserving GPU servers. It connects naturally to Cloudflare Workers, AI Gateway, and other Cloudflare services. The official pricing page lists a daily free allocation and bills paid usage in Neurons, with per-model token-equivalent tables. Those units make cost estimation more involved than a simple monthly plan. Check that the needed model, input size, region, and rate limits are supported before moving an existing application. For a production test, measure end-to-end latency and total cost with the gateway, storage, and application code included.

Cloudflare Workers AI review
Workers AI is compelling for applications already close to Cloudflare’s edge platform. It is less useful as a generic promise of “free AI”: free usage has limits, and model choices and pricing differ from direct provider APIs.
