Vmake is worth testing when the source video is usable but rough, especially for short social clips. The main tradeoff is the mix of credits and per-tool caps: a plan that covers captions may not cover the amount of upscaling you need. I would run one representative clip through the free allowance before buying and check whether details look natural instead of merely sharper.
